Occupational Therapy Services

Southwest Independent School District (SWISD) is issuing an RFP to procure on‑site Occupational Therapy (OT) services for students with disabilities across its schools. The contract will be “as‑needed,” covering OT evaluations, development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), direct therapy, consultative services, participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and provision of adaptive equipment. Therapists must be Texas‑licensed, work 16‑40 hours per week, provide their own transportation, and undergo background checks. The district will supply office space but not reimburse travel, training, or registration costs. The award will be for multiple vendors (primary and secondary) and will run from September 1 2025 (or award date) through May 31 2030. Invoices are paid within seven business days of month‑end, and pricing is firm with a maximum 3 % annual increase.
