Undersea Submergence Buoy

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of supplying an Undersea Submergence Buoy, limited to the welded metal housing shown in drawing 1845687. This is a Sources‑Sought/RFI, not a solicitation for proposals, and responses are voluntary. The anticipated acquisition will be phased: an initial prototype/qualification run of 1‑3 units for testing, followed by a production run of approximately 24‑50 units if the prototype is successful. Interested parties must complete a “Questionnaire for Industry” and return it via email by September 18 2026. Access to the detailed drawings requires a DD Form 2345 request through SAM.
