FAM-25-038 Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS)

The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is issuing a Request for Proposals to replace its legacy child welfare case management system with a new cloud‑ready Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The contract will cover the full lifecycle: system design, development, implementation, and subsequent operation & maintenance services. This effort aims to modernize case tracking, improve data sharing across agencies, and support compliance with federal CCWIS standards. • Design and develop a scalable, secure, cloud‑based CCWIS platform. • Migrate existing case data and integrate with current state systems. • Provide post‑implementation operation, maintenance, and support services. • Ensure compliance with federal child‑welfare data standards and reporting requirements.
