Description

The City of Los Angeles is seeking qualified contractors to execute two federally‑funded streetscape projects along Central Avenue. The Pedestrian Improvements Project (21st St – 58th St) and the Streetscape Improvements Project (22nd St – Vernon Ave) both require installation of curb ramps, curb extensions, new street lighting, bus benches and shelters, upgraded traffic signals, flashing beacons, and speed‑feedback signs to improve pedestrian safety and transit amenity. Bids are to be submitted through the Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMPLA) with an escrow‑document requirement for the three lowest bidders. Contractors must hold a valid California Class A contractor’s license.

Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $6,000,000

The opportunity lists an “Amount” of $5,451,780, which appears to be the total contract value. Assuming the award will be close to this figure, the expected budget to the winning contractor should fall in the $5 million‑$6 million range. Variations may arise from change orders, optional items, or differing bid prices, but the base estimate remains near the stated amount.
