Physician Services

The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs/Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center is seeking a physician to provide medical services to the residents of the long-term care facility. The physician will be responsible for evaluating and managing patient medical care, including providing orders for immediate care and needs, and reviewing the resident's total program of care. The physician must be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and must not be identified as an excluded individual or entity by Medicare or Medicaid authorities. • The physician will provide services to the residents of the facility, including evaluation and management of patient medical care. • The physician will follow all state and federal guidelines and regulations as they pertain to long-term care facilities. • The physician will provide orders for the resident's immediate care and needs. • The physician will review the resident's total program of care, including medications and treatments, at each visit. • The physician will write, sign, and date progress notes at each visit. • The physician will sign and date all orders, except for influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations. The contract is expected to be for a long-term care facility, which may imply a duration of 1 year or more.
