Homeowner Rental Incentive Program

The Town of Narragansett is seeking a qualified organization to create, implement, and administer a homeowner incentive program aimed at providing year-round rental housing to local residents and workers in town. The selected organization will be responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring the smooth operation of the program, promoting awareness among eligible homeowners and prospective renters, processing applications, confirming eligibility, and facilitating rental incentive payments. The program must prioritize housing for local workers earning up to 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI). • The program's goal is to address the critical shortage of year-round housing in the town. • The selected organization will work closely with the Town's designated program liaison and the Affordable Housing Trust Collaborative. • The organization must have prior experience with homeowner incentive programs or similar programs for municipalities in other similar resort-destination communities. • The organization must have a thorough understanding of state and local housing regulations. • The organization must have access to appropriate software and systems for program implementation. • The organization must be able to provide regular and accurate reports on program activity.
