Wonderland Drive Reconstruction Phase 2, Pine View Dr to Wonderland Cir

The City of Rapid City is seeking a consultant to provide engineering services for the Wonderland Drive Reconstruction Phase 2 project. The project includes the reconstruction of Wonderland Drive between Pine View Drive and Wonderland Circle, including Cosport Court, Storm Circle, and Wonderland Circle. The selected consultant will provide services related to preliminary design, final design, bidding, and construction services. The project includes improvements such as roadways, curb and gutter, sidewalks, water mains, sanitary sewer mains, and storm sewers. The consultant will also be responsible for coordinating with property owners, conducting public meetings, and providing traffic control plans. • The project is located in a sensitive area and will extend gravity sewer throughout. • The project includes the installation of a 6-foot wide sidewalk along the west side of Wonderland Drive. • The project requires the consultant to evaluate the use of curb and gutter for drainage vs ditches and culvers. • The project includes the extension of a 12” PVC water main and an 8” PVC sanitary sewer main. • The consultant will be responsible for developing a construction phasing plan and coordinating with utility companies.
