The City of Huntington Beach is seeking a qualified contractor to replace and upgrade the Well 4 production facility that feeds the Peck Reservoir. The work includes demolition of the existing pump building and equipment, installation of a new 75‑hp well pump, new concrete foundation and slab, steel‑fusion‑bonded epoxy‑lined discharge pipe (6‑12 in.), a pressure‑sustaining valve with flow‑metering, a centrifugal liquid‑solids separator, new 480 V electrical gear, a pump VFD, and associated instrumentation. Optional items allow for demolition of an adjacent chlorine building and installation of a new PLC‑0004 control panel. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incident‑insurance, comply with all applicable utility, CAL‑OSHA, and City standards, and complete the work within 240 working days after notice to proceed.
