Servicing City Vehicles

The City of Shelton is seeking competitive bids for servicing city vehicles. The selected vendor will provide maintenance and repair services for various city vehicles, including patrol vehicles and administrative vehicles. The scope of work includes oil and filter changes, brake pad and rotor replacements, and other repairs as needed. The city will supply all parts, and the vendor will provide labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the maintenance. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional five years. • The city reserves the right to award all or a portion of the required services to more than one qualified contractor. • The city reserves the right to request clarification of information submitted and to request additional information from any proposer. • The vendor must provide a certificate of insurance naming the city as an additional insured. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment and labor. • The vendor must provide a non-collusion affidavit and a signed and notarized certificate of insurance.
