Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii is seeking architect-engineer services for various mechanical engineering projects. The contract will be for a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The total fee for the contract term shall not exceed $20,000,000, with a guaranteed minimum of $3,000. The selected firm will provide services including functional analysis and concept development, design-build request for proposal construction documents, and post-construction award services. The firm must demonstrate experience in at least eight out of thirteen specified project types, including heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems, server room HVAC systems, and industrial ventilation systems.
• The firm must have experience in preparation of drawings/specifications for design-bid-build and design-build construction contracts.
• The firm must have experience in preparation of design-build request for proposal solicitation documents.
• The firm must have experience in preparation of engineering studies and reports.
• The firm must demonstrate knowledge of the general geographic areas in which projects could be located, primarily within the State of Hawaii.
• The firm must have a quality control program to ensure quality products and services under this contract.
