The State of Arkansas is seeking a contractor to provide life insurance coverage to its employees. The contract will be for an initial term of two years, with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year terms. The State will evaluate proposals based on factors such as price, technical merit, and past performance. • The contractor must be registered as a vendor to receive payment and must be able to accept the State's authorized VISA Procurement Card as a method of payment. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and executive orders of the state. • The contractor must certify that it is not engaged in a boycott of Israel or any energy, fossil fuel, firearms, or ammunition industry. • The contractor must certify that it does not knowingly employ or contract with illegal immigrants. The key responsibilities of the contractor will include providing life insurance coverage to State employees, managing claims and benefits, and providing customer service to employees. The contractor will also be required to submit regular reports and to participate in discussions with the State to ensure that the contract is being performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
