Giant Voice Expansion

The US Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors to expand the Giant Voice (GV) system at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming. The GV system is used for emergency alerts, warnings, and announcements. The expansion will include the installation of two new outdoor GV towers, siren control units, and speaker arrays. The system must be compatible with the existing GV system and provide intelligible voice messages to all personnel on the base. The contractor will be responsible for designing, testing, and installing the expanded GV system, as well as providing training and maintenance support. Some key features of the GV system include: • Zone selectable speaker arrays to provide simultaneous activations and individual zone or group activations • Activation and control subsystems with graphical intuitive interfaces • End-to-end security communications via 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) over-the-air encryption • Capability to broadcast pre-recorded voice messages, live voice messages, and tones • Integration with the AtHoc IP Integration Module 64 (IIM64) and the AtHoc netcentric Network Alerting System The US Air Force is looking for contractors who can provide a comprehensive solution that meets the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
