Conference Reissue: BWSR Academy 2027 & 2028

The State of Minnesota is seeking proposals for a conference venue to host the 2027 and 2028 Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) Academy. The conference will require a location within Stearns, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs, Douglas, Kandiyohi, or Cass Counties, with approximately 350-420 guests. The contract term is anticipated to be from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, with the option to extend up to an additional 12 months. • The conference will require meals, lodging rooms, and meeting rooms for the attendees. • The State does not guarantee a minimum number of lodging rooms or meals. • The contract prices shall not be adjusted if the number of attendees falls below the estimate. • The State reserves the right to award this conference to a facility that is clean, well maintained, provides adequate space, and is in the State of Minnesota. • The evaluation process will consist of three phases: review of responses for responsiveness and pass/fail requirements, evaluation of responses, and selection of finalists. • The State will consider factors such as acceptance of State's Terms and Conditions, cancellation policy, cost detail, and preference points in the evaluation process.
