FTQW 25-1108, Code Study

The US Air Force is seeking qualification packages for Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for a comprehensive code study of Amber Hall and Base Supply (B3426) at Eielson AFB, Alaska. The study shall evaluate each facility's alignment with current building, fire protection, and life safety codes. The selected firm will provide a report outlining code deficiencies, identify safety risks, and recommend corrective actions. • The contract period of performance is 90 days after the date of award. • The A-E firm shall have experience with DoD design/investigations on a DoD facility. • The A-E firm shall have experience with cold climate (sub-arctic or arctic) design. • The A-E firm shall have experience with whole building code studies. • The A-E firm shall have knowledge of local conditions, including regulatory agencies, geological features, logistics, climatic conditions, and local design and construction methods.
