INSPECTION AND TESTING OF FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES GROUND LADDERS, HOSES, APPLIANCES AND NOZZLES

The U.S. Navy’s Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is seeking a Women‑Owned Small Business to perform comprehensive inspection and testing of fire‑service ground ladders, fire hoses, appliances and nozzles at three Naval installations in Washington State (Whidbey Island, Bremerton, Bangor). The work follows NFPA 1932 for ladders and NFPA 1962 for hoses/appliances, requires detailed documentation, replacement of heat‑sensor labels on ladders, and issuance of multiple test reports. The contractor must provide its own specialized testing tools, travel to each site, obtain DBIDS clearance for personnel, and submit both electronic and hard‑copy records within 30 days of completion. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price, set‑aside for WOSBs, with a performance period of 60 calendar days from award. • Inspect & test ~1,350 ground ladders across three sites per NFPA 1932. • Inspect & pressure‑test ~56,000 ft of fire hoses and associated appliances/nozzles per NFPA 1962. • Produce certificates of completion, inventory reports, failure analyses, and replace ladder heat‑sensor labels. • Travel, labor, and all required equipment are to be included in the quote. • Access requires DBIDS clearance; no escort provided by Navy. • Deliverables due within 30 days of testing; overall contract performance 60 days.
