Budget estimate

$15,000 – $45,000

Wetland mitigation credits in Virginia typically range from $8,000 to $25,000 per credit depending on market demand, acreage, and ecological value. The IFB calls for 2.24 credits, so the total contract value is likely to fall between roughly $15,000 and $45,000. The estimate assumes a mid‑range credit price of $10,000–$20,000 and includes all associated attorney and closing costs, which are bundled into the single‑price bid. Factors influencing the final amount include the specific credit pricing negotiated, any additional certification fees, and the contractor’s cost structure for legal and administrative work.
