RFP: Lifeguard Services

The Morris‑Union Jointure Commission is seeking a qualified vendor to provide lifeguard staffing and pool‑management services at the Development Learning Center pool in Warren, NJ. The work is divided into three contract periods covering summer extended school year, regular school‑year, and high‑school swim‑team seasons, with specific lifeguard staffing levels and operating hours for each period. The vendor must supply certified lifeguards, conduct routine pool‑chemical monitoring, provide a certified pool operator for maintenance issues, and meet extensive insurance, background‑check, and compliance requirements. • Provide 3 lifeguards (9 a.m.–2 p.m.) for the summer ESY period (June 25 – July 31 2026). • Provide 3 lifeguards (9 a.m.–2 p.m.) for the regular school‑year period (Sept 14 2026 – June 10 2027). • Provide 2 lifeguards (3 p.m.–8 p.m.) for the high‑school swim‑team season (Nov 16 2026 – Mar 5 2027). • Perform pool‑area housekeeping, chemical testing every two hours, and report deficiencies; maintain required certifications, insurance, and background checks; submit a sealed bid by March 18 2026.
