Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) is gathering market data for a future Solar Master Contract that could cover up to ~60 school facilities across the district. The agency is seeking comprehensive technical, financial, and operational information from qualified solar‑energy providers to inform the design, installation, operation, and potential financing models for photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops, ground‑mounts, canopies, or new construction. Respondents must address system design options, engineering analyses, cost breakdowns, financing approaches, project scheduling, permitting, O&M plans, warranties, and community‑engagement activities. The RFI will be used to shape a best‑value RFP anticipated in FY 26.
• Provide detailed design concepts (layout, structural analysis, equipment specs, performance guarantees).
• Submit cost estimates, pricing structures, ROI, and possible financing options (e.g., PPAs, third‑party ownership).
• Outline implementation timeline, permitting strategy, O&M and monitoring plans, and warranty terms.
• Include experience metrics, references (including at least one LEA), and educational outreach capabilities.
