RFP-DV-2026-023 — 2026 Holiday Market Manager

The City of New Rochelle is seeking a qualified manager to operate the 2026 Winter Wonderland Indoor Holiday Market. The selected vendor will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the market, including vendor placement, event logistics, on-site administration, and conflict resolution. The market will take place from December 3 to December 20, 2026, and will feature 30 to 40 vendors, artisans, and makers offering unique, handcrafted goods. The manager will also be responsible for managing marketing and social media promotion, as well as guiding vendor relations and preparations leading up to and throughout the market’s duration. • The market will be open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with varying hours of operation. • The manager must be present at the market during all operating hours, as well as 45 minutes before opening and 30 minutes after closing. • The manager will be responsible for tracking and maintaining records of volunteer hours, estimating daily visitor numbers, evaluating overall vendor performance, and providing a comprehensive final summary report to the City. • The manager must have experience in managing public markets, street festivals, or large-scale municipal events, and must be able to provide a detailed plan for managing the market, including vendor coordination, conflict resolution, and social media marketing.
