MARFORRES Small Craft Mechanic Services

The United States Marine Corps is seeking information for capability statements for full-time Small Craft Mechanic services to perform maintenance and operations across five geographical locations within the 4th Marine Division. The primary duty location is aboard Fort Sam Houston at the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion Headquarters and Service Company (H&S Co) Home Training Center (HTC) in San Antonio, TX. Regular travel to other locations is integral to this position's responsibilities. The contractor shall provide support services for small craft mechanic support, including developing daily operational briefings/reports/information documents, performing basic analytical skills, and maintaining the boat locker publications library. • The contractor shall have experience with US Military watercraft and engine maintenance, training, and instruction. • The contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience with amphibious equipment associated with watercraft, trailers, and engines. • The contractor shall have a significant understanding of the concept of employment for reconnaissance boat teams and be able to provide recommendations for training, readiness, and employment. • The contractor shall be certified or have the ability to become certified to maintain all watercraft and engines in accordance with all applicable Marine Corps technical manuals.
