AFFF Disposal Project

The State of South Dakota, Department of the Military, is seeking a contractor to assist with the disposal of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) from the Fire Suppression System (FSS) at the South Dakota Army National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. The contractor will be responsible for draining and rinsing the FSS lines, disposing of the AFFF contaminated water, and conducting a visual inspection of the interior of the piping. The contractor must have experience with similar projects and must be able to provide specialized services, including environmental support and waste disposal. • The contractor must have experience with AFFF disposal and environmental support services. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed plan for the disposal of the AFFF contaminated water. • The contractor must be able to conduct a visual inspection of the interior of the piping. • The contractor must be able to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the project. • The contractor must be able to work within the specified time limits for the project.
