The City of Hutchinson is seeking proposals from qualified marketing agencies to provide community marketing services under the Market Hutch program. The program aims to drive out-of-market visitors to choose Hutchinson by telling an honest, compelling story about what makes this community worth the trip, generating measurable growth in local sales tax revenue. The selected agency will serve as the City's creative and strategic marketing partner, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing program. The scope of work includes brand and creative strategy, media strategy and placement, content development, performance measurement and reporting, and coordination with City staff. Key aspects of the job include: • Developing or refining a cohesive tagline, theme, or creative platform for the campaign • Ensuring creative direction reflects a modern, welcoming, and authentic identity for Hutchinson • Integrating original or licensed video and still photography • Presenting a recommended media mix, including digital advertising, social media, video, and traditional media • Developing campaign content, including copy, graphics, video, and photography • Providing clear, data-driven reporting tied to program goals • Collaborating with City staff and local partners on content that reflects Hutchinson authentically
