Werner Park - Central Stairs Refurbishment

Sarpy County is soliciting a qualified contractor to refurbish the central stairway and a portion of the upper deck at Werner Park in Papillion, NE. The work includes selective demolition, steel fabrication, concrete deck pouring, installation of precast concrete stair treads, application of polyurethane floor coating, caulking, painting, and related site cleanup. Two optional alternates are available: (1) addition of a galvanized‑painted steel plate to existing stair stringers, and (2) expansion of the upper‑deck replacement area. The project must be completed by March 5 2027, prior to the 2027 baseball season, and the contractor must provide all labor, materials, permits, insurance, and bonds. A mandatory pre‑bid meeting is required on 9/29/2026; bids are due 10/7/2026.
