The Austin Independent School District (AISD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide library books, textbooks, and digital educational resources, including library cataloging and processing. The purpose of this proposal is to establish a pool of qualified vendors to provide these products for instructional and/or administrative use under the terms of the requirements and specifications of this RFP. The district is looking for vendors that can provide a variety of products, including print and digital library books, supplemental reading resources, textbooks, digital content resources, and library cataloging and processing services. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. Some key points to consider: • The district is seeking vendors that can provide products suitable for use by students in grades Pre-K to 12. • Vendors must be able to provide products that meet the district's requirements and specifications. • The district reserves the right to reject or disqualify any vendor response that is in conflict with state or district-established standards. • The evaluation process will be done on a pass/fail basis, with all criteria considered equally important. • The district encourages Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) to participate in the procurement process.
