Library Book Supplies

Sherman Independent School District is seeking sealed proposals for the purchase of library books, AV material, and supplies. The district is looking for qualified vendors offering discounts off of catalog/website prices, published prices, or fair market value. The approved vendors will be expected to service various school locations, including early childhood centers, elementary campuses, middle schools, and a high school. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that best serves the interest of the district, considering factors such as purchase price, reputation, quality of goods and services, and compliance with laws and regulations. Some key requirements for vendors include providing a percentage discount based on the publisher's suggested list retail price, offering shipping, accession numbers, laser-printed barcodes, and full MARC records for all books. • The contract term is from June 6, 2024, to June 30, 2030. • The district reserves the right to negotiate with vendors and accept or reject any proposals. • Vendors must comply with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. • The district encourages vendors to submit responses as soon as possible, and all questions received will be distributed to all bidders.
