Environmental Consulting and Remedial Services

The City of Charlotte’s Aviation department is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive environmental consulting and remedial services for a long‑term spill remediation project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (NCDEQ UST Section Incident #18989). The work includes site assessment, reporting, ongoing monitoring, absorbent pad and boom maintenance, and operation/maintenance of dual‑phase extraction systems and associated wastewater treatment facilities. The contract is expected to run for 5–10 years with a total project value between $1 M and $4.99 M. • Conduct full environmental site assessments and produce detailed reports. • Perform ongoing spill remediation, including monitoring and maintenance of containment equipment. • Operate and maintain dual‑phase extraction systems and Physical‑Chemical wastewater treatment units. • Provide insurance coverage (auto, professional liability, general liability, workers’ compensation). • Deliver services through project completion under a multi‑year agreement.
