Pressure Transducers

The US Air Force is seeking sources for commercially available pressure transducers that meet specific technical requirements. The required equipment must have a pressure range of 25-2200 psi, an operational mode of absolute or sealed gage, and an over-pressure rating of 2x the rated pressure. The transducers must also have a burst pressure rating of 5x the rated pressure, up to a maximum of 15,000 psi. The full-scale output should be between 8-32 VDC, with a maximum current of 25 mA. The equipment must be able to operate in a temperature range of -40 deg F to +265 deg F and withstand linear vibration, humidity, and mechanical shock. • The required quantity is 54 pressure transducers. • The equipment must meet the specifications provided in the Technical Specification Sheet. • The requirement can be met by manufacturer Kulite, part number BME-76-1100, or an "or equal" commercially available product. • The pressure transducers must have a fully active four-arm Wheatstone bridge dielectrically isolated silicon on silicon pressure sensing principle. • The equipment must have a mounting torque of 100 inch-pounds (max) and a weight of 110 grams.
