Barrington Hills Pump Station Eliminations (10230090)

The City of Cincinnati is seeking qualified contractors to replace five aging pump stations and construct a new gravity‑sewer conveyance system in the Barrington Hills area. Work includes demolition, site clearing, removal and salvage of existing lift stations, extensive trenchless pipe installation (horizontal directional drilling, auger boring, and hammer boring) for a variety of conduit sizes (6‑ to 18‑inch), construction and remodeling of numerous manholes, de‑watering, temporary access road construction, and environmental mitigation such as creek‑crossing restoration, silt‑fence installation, and SWPPP compliance. The contract is awarded on a unit‑price basis with partial‑payment milestones and a $170 k utility allowance; a performance bond not exceeding 1 % of the bid price is required.
