FY27 Tire Repair and Replacement

The Ada County Highway District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide tire repair and replacement services for their fleet of vehicles, including light duty, medium duty, and heavy duty vehicles, as well as tractors. The contract will require the contractor to have a facility and a mobile unit capable of changing tires on everything from a light duty vehicle to heavy duty equipment. The contractor must also be able to produce retreads for heavy duty dump trucks and have personnel available to respond to emergency situations 24/7. The evaluation criteria will include the proposal cost schedule, firm history, experience and references, firm qualifications, and understanding of the scope of work requirements. • The contract will encompass upfitting including light duty, medium duty, heavy duty vehicles and tractors. • The contractor must have a facility as well as a mobile unit capable of changing tires on everything from a light duty vehicle to heavy duty equipment ranging from 66,000 pounds to 80,000 pounds. • The contractor must be able to produce retreads for heavy duty dump trucks for the rears only. • The contractor must have personnel available to respond to emergency situations 24/7.
