Caustic Soda

The City of Phoenix is seeking bids for the supply of caustic soda for a five-year contract. The successful bidder will be required to provide caustic soda that meets the specifications and provisions contained in the solicitation. The contractor will be responsible for delivering the caustic soda to various City of Phoenix locations. The contract will commence on or about April 1, 2026. Some key requirements include: • Providing prices per active pound, 100% dry weight equivalent, and per gallon • Ensuring that all materials, equipment, supplies, or products that come into contact with drinking water or drinking water treatment chemicals conform to NSF standards • Maintaining compliance with all DOT, EPA, and OSHA requirements for delivering and handling hazardous materials • Providing certified quality analysis of the product as performed by an independent third-party laboratory • Ensuring that delivery trucks are dedicated to material being delivered or are thoroughly cleaned to maintain NSF compliance of delivered chemical
