Dental Insurance Provider

The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive dental insurance coverage (or Administration Services Only) for its employees, retirees, and their dependents. The contract will run for five years beginning approximately January 1 2027, with options for a standard fully‑insured plan, a higher‑benefit plan, and a self‑funded ASO arrangement. Vendors must submit a detailed provider network by county and specialty, propose rate tables for a 10,900‑person population, guarantee rates for five years, and demonstrate experience and past performance. Evaluation will be based on cost, network completeness, qualifications, past performance, and alternative‑plan pricing. • Scope: Provide dental coverage (or ASO administration) for ~6,500 employees, ~3,500 retirees, and dependents across multiple Tennessee counties. • Required Deliverables: Completed provider‑network tables, five‑year rate tables for standard and high‑benefit plans, ASO pricing, and a 5‑year rate guarantee. • Contract Terms: 5‑year duration (2027‑2032), sealed RFP, award based on best‑value criteria, mandatory insurance coverages (minimum $1 M each for GL, Auto, Professional, etc.).
