Rebuild 30-Inch M&H Check Valve – Tar River Water Supply Reservoir Dam

The City of Rocky Mount is seeking a qualified fabricator to rebuild a 30-inch M&H check valve for the Tar River Reservoir Dam Raw Water Intake. The valve failed, causing water to leak backward through the piping, and was removed, disassembled, and inspected. The selected fabricator will be required to perform various tasks, including providing or fabricating and machining new parts, reassembling and coating the rebuilt valve, and delivering it to the Tar River Reservoir Water Treatment Plant. The city is looking for a vendor with demonstrated experience rebuilding large-diameter check valves for municipal or public-sector water utilities.
