SECURITY GUARD SERVICE

The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA) is seeking proposals from licensed and qualified companies to provide uniformed security guard services to SNRHA designated sites. The company awarded a contract shall provide armed and unarmed security guard services on a scheduled and as-needed basis for various SNRHA properties located in Clark County, NV. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide licensed security guard services. The contractor must have at least five years of documented experience with the same scope and complexity of SNRHA, with a proven track record of providing services to entities comparable to the Housing Authority. The contractor must also demonstrate the capability of providing trained and qualified armed and unarmed guards that will stand guard or roving patrol (on-foot, bike, or vehicular) at various SNRHA developments and facilities. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing security guard services to SNRHA properties • Monitoring all entrances and exits to ensure that all doors and windows are secure • Preventing loitering, trespassers, and any illegal activity of residents, non-residents, and/or staff • Contacting the Police Department (and/or other Emergency Services) immediately if an incident occurs which warrants their immediate involvement • Providing management and oversight of the security of the SNRHA staff, residents, buildings, and equipment.
