Concessions at Sandy Point State Park (Summer 2026)

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids to provide concession services at Sandy Point State Park from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend in 2026. The successful bidder will be required to provide a quality food concessions operation, beach retail sales and rental operation, and mobile vending services. The concession services will be located at the South Beach area of the park and will operate from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to operate the concession services. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing sales of applicable goods, commodities, or services • Providing rentals and storage of equipment • Providing mobile vending services • Maintaining the concession facility and equipment • Providing a variety of merchandise for sale and rental purposes • Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The contract will be awarded to the bidder who submits the most favorable bid, which will be determined by the highest responsive commission rate percentage bid that is timely and complete from a responsible bidder.
