The City of Sierra Vista is seeking qualified firms' proposals to build and install a solar powered e-bike charging station that will be placed outside the Sierra Vista Public Library. The charging station should have the capability to provide charging and lockable storage for up to 12 e-Bikes or e-scooters, and six e-skateboards at a time, with a maximum size of 250 square feet and maximum height of 15 feet. The station should also provide ambient light at night, have structural components made of aluminum or non-rusting materials, and provide surge protected electricity for electronic devices. The installation will be subject to Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages rates and reporting requirements. • The charging station should be able to charge an e-bike, e-scooter, e-skateboard within 1 hour • The station should have lockers that are configured to fit e-bikes, e-scooters, or e-skateboards • The station should provide ambient light at night • The station should have structural components made of aluminum or non-rusting materials • The station should provide surge protected electricity for electronic devices • The station should have stainless steel fasteners • The station should have the ability to monitor system information through solar charge controllers or mobile apps • The station should accommodate City branding and color • The station should have easy to clean surfaces • The station should have a minimum 115 wind-rating
