179-day Tanker Time Charter

This Sources‑Sought Notice seeks market information for a 179‑day time charter of a clean, ice‑strengthened double‑hull tanker capable of transporting JP8, JP5, JP8, and/or JA1 fuels. The charter will support the Defense Logistics Agency – Energy and will operate out of Greece, requiring compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and IMO Polar Code standards. Respondents must provide vessel details, daily charter rates, and extensive certification data. • Vessel must be ≤ 20 years old, double‑hull, ice‑class (GL‑E2/ABS‑B0/FS‑1B) and able to meet specific draft limits for JP8 (≤ 12 m), JA1 (≤ 11.8 m), and F76 (≤ 9.5 m). • Cargo capacity up to 230,000 bbl JP8/JA1 and 200,000 bbl F76, with a minimum speed of 13 knots and required crane (≥ 10 t). • Required documentation includes classification society certificates, Polar Code compliance, stowage plans, fuel consumption data, and daily charter pricing.
