M1NB--Intent to Sole Source TVHS Boiler Plant Operator

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Boiler Plant Operators for the TVHS Nashville Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for operating and maintaining the facility's boiler plant, including starting and shutting down boilers, operating plant equipment and controls, collecting and recording data, and performing routine maintenance tasks. The contract will be for a period of 6 months, from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, and the estimated value of the contract is $575,280.00. • The contractor must provide fully qualified Boiler Plant Operators who can pass a comprehensive Federal background check and obtain a PIV card. • The contractor must be able to provide 24/7 coverage, with at least 24 hours' notice for adequate shift coverage. • The contractor must be able to perform tasks such as start-up and shut-down of boilers, operation of plant equipment and controls, and routine equipment maintenance. • The contractor must be able to provide documentation of plant operations and maintenance activities.
