IT Exam Services for Insurance Companies

The State of Wyoming, Department of Insurance is seeking proposals from qualified IT exam services providers to perform IT portions of financial examinations, including cybersecurity, general and security software control reviews, and computer-assisted audit techniques. The selected provider will be required to have sufficient knowledge, background, and experience to perform these services and must possess either the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation or the Automated Examination Specialist (AES) designation. The provider will be expected to work cooperatively with the State's staff and business partners, provide professional liability insurance, and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations. • The IT exam services will be performed on an as-needed basis, with the provider being required to respond to requests from the Department of Insurance. • The provider will be expected to have experience in conducting general and application reviews over automated controls and performing computer-assisted audit techniques using ACL software. • The provider will be required to submit a technical proposal, including a work plan, resumes, and references, as well as a cost proposal, including an hourly rate and a description of all other charges. • The State of Wyoming reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technical defect in the proposals.
