Description
The City of Mesa is seeking qualified vendors to supply duty‑service ammunition, frangible training rounds, practice ammunition, and various less‑lethal products (e.g., OC spray) to its police department on an as‑needed basis. The contract is a fixed‑price, three‑year agreement with optional extensions, and vendors must meet strict SAAMI‑type specifications, provide a 100‑round free sample, and be able to deliver to the Mesa Police Range within 30 days of order. The solicitation allows bidders to submit proposals for only a subset of line items and accepts multiple alternative ammunition manufacturers (PMC, MagTech, Sellier and Bellotas) while restricting less‑lethal projectile manufacturers.
