Description
The Prince William Water authority is seeking a qualified Applications Engineering Systems Supplier (AESS) to develop, test, and support SCADA‑based control‑system applications for its water‑distribution and wastewater‑collection network. The contractor will program Schneider Electric PLCs and operator‑interface terminals, perform factory and site testing, deliver final software and documentation, and provide field startup and training. The work excludes Ethernet switch configuration and is limited to the SCADA portion of the utility’s infrastructure.
• Must demonstrate ≥5 years SCADA/PLC experience and at least three recent municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Required platforms: Schneider Modicon M340 (EcoStruxure Control Expert), Harmony GTO (Vijeo Designer), Harmony SCU (EcoStruxure Machine Expert), EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert, and DNP3 communications.
• Must maintain a fully‑staffed service facility within 200 mi of Woodbridge, VA and be able to respond to on‑site issues within 12 hours (4 hours during the critical startup window).
