Provision of an Independent Assessment of Video Surveillance Software and Hardware

Gwinnett County is seeking a vendor to perform a comprehensive, manufacturer‑neutral assessment of its existing video‑surveillance infrastructure (≈ 3,457 cameras across ~100 locations) and to develop a cost‑effective future‑state plan. The work includes a full inventory, site‑map updates, identification of redundant or outdated equipment, maintenance and support review, and a roadmap with budgetary estimates for recommended upgrades or removals. The contractor must deliver all findings within six months of award and may be eligible for future implementation contracts. • Conduct physical verification of every camera and related hardware at all County facilities. • Produce updated CAD/Visio/GIS site‑maps and an electronic inventory with detailed asset data. • Recommend optimal camera placement, technology refresh, and maintenance plans, including budgetary cost estimates and compliance matrices (CJIS, HIPAA, PREA, etc.). • Deliver a final report summarizing current‑state findings, future‑state recommendations, and an implementation roadmap.
