Gayley Center Real Time Safety Center (PREQUALIFICATION)

The University of California, Los Angeles seeks a qualified prime contractor to renovate approximately 13,300 gsf of vacant office space in the Gayley Center into a Real‑Time Safety Center that will serve as the command post for the 2028 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. The work includes interior demolition, wall and ceiling modifications, finish upgrades, installation of data and power infrastructure, dedicated mechanical units, fire‑alarm and sprinkler updates, and creation of multiple office, conference, and technology spaces. The contract value is estimated at $4.237 million and requires compliance with California public‑work prevailing‑wage rules and UC Fair Wage standards. • Interior demolition and fit‑out of ~13,300 gsf for a security operations hub. • Installation of data conduits, server racks, mechanical units, ATS, and fire‑protection system upgrades. • Coordination with building occupants and adherence to strict noise‑mitigation and safety requirements for an Olympic‑level facility.
