Janitorial Services for KY State Treasurer

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Kentucky State Treasurer. The services will be provided at the West Frankfort Office Complex, located at 1050 US Hwy 127 South, Suite 100, Frankfort, KY. The facility is approximately 18,480 square feet, but only approximately 14,000 square feet is to be cleaned. The vendor will be responsible for providing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning services, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting. The vendor will also be responsible for providing deep cleaning services as needed. • Daily cleaning services will include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning front lobby glass, and cleaning and sweeping entrance porches, steps, and walkways. • Weekly cleaning services will include dusting ceiling areas and high corners, cleaning door kicks, push plates, handles, and frames, and cleaning entire glass, interior doors, and partitions. • Monthly cleaning services will include vacuuming or dusting Venetian blinds, drapes, and chairs, and cleaning all baseboards. • Quarterly cleaning services will include cleaning all carpeted areas using extraction methods, cleaning inside and outside of wastebaskets, and damp cleaning ceiling vents. The vendor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies, including commercial mop, mop bucket, vacuum, carpet cleaner, and steam mop. The vendor will also be required to provide a list of all employees and their social security numbers who will be providing services, as well as proof of insurance and bonding.
