RFP 001-26 Kayaking and Paddleboard Concessions

The Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a concessionaire to provide kayak and paddleboard rental services at Beach Access #2, located at 2950 Islands Drive, North Topsail Beach, NC. The concessionaire will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, staff, and services to operate the concession. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The concessionaire will be required to provide a written patron safety orientation plan, maintain liability insurance, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The concessionaire will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, staff, and services to operate the concession. • The concessionaire will be required to provide a written patron safety orientation plan. • The concessionaire will be required to maintain liability insurance. • The concessionaire will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The concessionaire will have access to a locked area at the Beach Access #2 building for storing or charging devices during operation. • The concessionaire will be required to remove all property from the area upon termination of the contract.
