RFP Tele-Health (Counseling Services)

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking a qualified, licensed tele‑health provider to deliver 24/7 mental‑health counseling and crisis‑intervention services to approximately 350 student‑athletes. The contractor must maintain a network of clinicians licensed in all 50 states (and internationally where needed), operate a HIPAA‑compliant platform, and integrate with the university’s counseling center and athletics departments. The contract will begin upon award (initial term through June 30 2026) and may be renewed up to four additional one‑year periods, for a total possible duration of five years. Proposals must be submitted by June 29 2026; questions are due June 17 2026. • Provide 24/7 crisis triage, risk assessment, and short‑term counseling via video, phone, or secure messaging. • Coordinate referrals to EKU Counseling Center and comply with NCAA mental‑health best‑practice guidelines, HIPAA, and FERPA. • Deliver monthly utilization and performance reports; optional services (workshops, screenings, etc.) may be offered as line‑item add‑ons. • Required documentation includes licensure proof, ACORD insurance certificates, audited financial statements, and three client references.
