Third Party Administration (TPA) Services

The City of Gainesville is seeking proposals for Third Party Claims Adjusting Services (TPA) for Workers Compensation and Employers Liability. The successful proposer will be required to perform all services listed in Exhibit A, including administrative services and claims services, and may be requested to provide an option for loss statistic services. The proposer must have at least five years of experience and demonstrate qualifications to successfully complete the project. The evaluation process will consider factors such as technical qualifications, written proposal, presentation/interview, and other factors. Key services include preparing and maintaining records and reports, making available adjusters on a 24-hour basis, establishing reporting procedures, and conducting investigations. • The proposer must provide a price proposal, including estimated annual costs for claims services, loss reporting, and other services. • The proposer must demonstrate experience and qualifications in handling workers' compensation and employers' liability claims. • The proposer must provide a plan for taking over open claims at inception, if required. • The proposer must provide monthly reports, including claim summaries, loss fund reconciliation, and other reports as required.
