Strategic Communications - City Administration and Economic Development

The City of Palm Springs is seeking a firm or multiple firms to provide on-call strategic communication services in partnership with the City Manager’s Office, the Communications Department, and the Economic Development Department. The scope of work includes development of project-specific comprehensive communication strategies, public relations, and community outreach services. The contract term is for three years with two one-year options to renew. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing communications, public relations, and community engagement services • Developing and implementing communications strategies for the Palm Springs Convention Center modernization project • Assisting with community meetings, town halls, presentations, and other special events • Providing visual communications support and maintaining stakeholder databases • Developing briefing packets, talking points, and memos to support engagement with elected officials
