DSS #9 - ENGINEERING, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, PLANNING AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT S

The City of Detroit is seeking qualified firms to provide engineering, construction management, planning, and program management services. The selected firms will be placed on a list of pre-approved suppliers, which will be submitted to the Detroit City Council for approval. The firms will then compete for City work through the normal solicitation process. The services required include Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Architectural, Geological, and Environmental Engineering, as well as Planning Services. The minimum qualifications for engineering services include five years of experience, a current Michigan Professional Engineer License, and financial capacity to conduct business. The minimum qualifications for planning and development services include experience in public engagement, market analysis, historic preservation, urban design, implementation, and land use and zoning. • The City of Detroit will evaluate each response based on experience, past performance, and quality control. • The proposal must include a respondent questionnaire, introduction and overview, pricing, forms and affidavits, and a sample contract. • The City of Detroit may make changes to the requirements of this RFQQ as deemed necessary. • The Pre-Qualifications are valid until December 31, 2029. • The City of Detroit will use the information provided to determine financial responsibility and to evaluate the proposal.
