Furniture Equipment Contract

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of General Services is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish one or more contracts for the supply of commercial, systems, and specialized office furniture, ancillary products, and related services to state agencies. The contract will be COSTARS‑eligible, run for a five‑year period (May 1 2027 – April 30 2032), and may be renewed. Vendors must submit discounted price lists, meet ANSI/BIFMA durability standards, provide installation, warranty (minimum five years), and be capable of serving the entire Commonwealth. The award will be made by manufacturer, and bids are due electronically by December 17 2026. • Scope includes standard office & system furniture, ancillary items (acoustic, lighting, ergonomic, etc.), and specialized furniture. • Required deliverables: product catalogs, price lists, cost submittal workbook, warranty documentation, and optional design/installation services. • Minimum order $500; no blanket purchase orders; electronic bidding only via Pennsylvania Supplier Portal. • Vendors must be registered in the state procurement system and provide required certifications (lobbying, worker protection, etc.). • Installation costs may be billed separately; warranty coverage of parts and labor for at least five years. • Quarterly reporting on usage, transactions, and performance required. • Geographic coverage must include all Pennsylvania state agencies. • No home‑office or remote‑work furnishings allowed.
