Private Examiners

The State Board of Accounts (SBOA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to act as private examiners. The selected contractor will conduct agreed-upon assigned financial statement attestation engagements on units of government as agreed upon by SBOA and the contractor. The scope of work includes conducting financial statement attestation engagements in accordance with Indiana Code 5-11-1-7. Key responsibilities may include: • Conducting financial statement attestation engagements on units of government • Coordinating with SBOA to determine the scope of work • Providing reports and findings to SBOA • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards This opportunity requires a high level of expertise in financial statement attestation and knowledge of Indiana Code 5-11-1-7. The contractor must be a qualified firm of certified public accountants.
